For some reason, the video ends ten seconds before the Doc abruptly sez, ok, it's all fused, that's it, thank you!

Wow - it looks like a fluffy feather pillow in there!

MT: I wasn't awake actually, and if I had been, I probably would have passed out from severe heebie-jeebies! Watching the video the first time gave me this weird shuddery feeling- knowing that was the inside of my knee was unnerving. I'm sure if I watched it as someone else's knee, then it would just look like fluffy feater pillow, like it did for Saira. :)

Hemmie: Don't ask me how many times I've seen it by now, haha, I'm starting to think this surgery is boring, I need a new DVD, but I don't want another surgery :p

eh!!! that in no way is a fluffy white cloud, you tricked me into watching it thinking it would be a fluffy white cloud or a bunny rabbit .....aaaa what was the doctor trying to do take the furry substance out or what, seemed like liposuction.

Wow!! the inner workings of abez. it was totally like watching the discovery channel. it makes me feel a little bit better about having my MRI films framed.

Ushi: Lol, that liposuction thingy was actually the laser, and I have to admit, I was expecting it to me a bit more.. dramatic, you know, all bright red and zap and slice! hehe

Miraya: LOL! You know, I have tons of MRI's, and I was wondering what I should do with them... :p

I was expecting better sound effects, but the acting was spectacular. Have your knee call my people, the possibilities are endless!

Finding KneeMo, JumanKnee, A Friend in Knee. We won't stop there! It's our duty to get body parts aware of Islam. How about a documentary about a knee at the time of the Islamic Empire's peak?

Just picture it, a 20ft lit up sign ,"ABEZ'S KNEE"!

Khayra: LOL!!! Khalid is asleep, and I had a really hard time not laughing out loud at your movies titles- I love them! haha!

How are you doing btw?

Asslamalu Alaikum,

I'm a hopeful mom to be and I keep checking the blogworld for a blog purely devoted to Muslim Moms (&dads)...blogs are those that are expecting or have little kiddos so that we can connect, share experiences etc. I find some mom blogs through other blog links but it takes alot of time...it would be much easier to create one blog called Muslim Mothers Blog (so uncreative but you get the point) and have links to ALL muslim mommies blogs and in the posts have moms of said blogs post their opinions, share parenting etc.

What do you think? Could you (& ur mommy friends) start this up? Just another blog?

Thanks!

Muslim mom to be

P.S. A good example is one that just started recently called the Indian Mommies.

Check out the blog (look where they link all the indian mom blogs so its easier to find them)

That's an interesting idea Zahra, but I don't know if my blog would fit the category- I blog about so many things other than my son Khalid (aka bebeface) that I don't know if I would consider mine to be a mommy blog, and the same applies to those that I know.

However, we can start collecting links, and if you want I can create a static page w/the links and let it be accessed from here. I don't have time to maintain more than one blog, but if you think that posting a page of links within here is a good idea then let me know and people, turn in your links if you're a Muslim parent?

Oh that would be excellent and I would think alot of people would benefit from that inshallah. A link page is good enough too...that way there is no pressure to maintain a blog.

Wassalam

Oooooooh, I'm feeling kinda fainty. I thought I was made of sterner stuff, but it weirded me out. Now it's bed time and I'll probably have a knight of kneeghtmares!!!!
Anyway, so glad to hear you are on the mend and enjoying some much needed R&R.
